Pinoy Ube Bread (Tinapay)

I don’t know what is the correct name of this Ube Bread or tinapay. This is one of my kids favorite snacks or merienda. Some people call it “Malandi” ( not the what you are thinking…) hehehe
If somebody could post a comment about this bread it will be helpful.


How to make (cook) Hopiang Hapon

Dough
Ingredients:
3 cups All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup White Sugar
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
3/4 cup Water
1/2 Cup Margarine, non-hydrogenated
I T Vanilla
golden yellow food color
Procedure:
Combine all ingredients. Knead to form a  dough.
Equally divide the dough into 64 pieces .
If you prefer, larger dice; just divide the dough into 32 pieces.

Ingredients:
* 2 cups milk
* 3/4 cup white sugar
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
* 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Pan De Sal (Pinoy Pandesal Bread)

Ingredients:
* 2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
* 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
* 1/3 cup white sugar
* 1/4 cup vegetable oil
* 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
* 6 cups all-purpose flour
