Filipino Turon (Fried Banana Roll)

Ingredients:
12 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into half, lengthwise
brown sugar
cooking oil
lumpia wrappers
1 can langka preserves
How to cook:
Roll banana in sugar. Wrap banana and langka in lumpia wrapper just like you would a lumpia. Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. Serve with ice cream.


Filipino Recipe Egg Rolls (Pinoy Lumpiang Shanghai - Pork) 2

Ingredients:
2 lbs. lean ground pork
1 large carrot, minced
1/4 onion, minced
1 small can water chestnut, minced
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon magic sarap
dash of pepper
lumpia wrapper
oil for frying

How to cook:
1. Combine all the ingredients for lumpia filling.
2. Wrap in lumpia wrapper in thin shapes.
3. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
4. Drain. Serve hot.

Filipino Egg Rolls (Pinoy Lumpiang Shanghai - Pork)

Ingredients:
300g ground pork
1 small onion, diced
1 small carrots, finely chopped
1 cup grated cheese
3 tbsp plain flour
2 eggs
soy sauce
ground black pepper
spring roll wrapper
How to cook:
1. Mix ground meat, onion, carrots, cheese, flour and eggs well.
2. Season with soy sauce and pepper to taste.
3. Put one tablespoon of the meat mixture in the middle of the wrapper [...]
